This small script will fetch X number of items from an RSS feed and display them within the content of your site. Great for putting updates on your site, or news, or even blog excerpts.

This small script will fetch X number of items from an RSS feed, parse it as plain HTML, and print it to a browser. In order to speed things up, the RSS feed is cached to a text file on the server. It checks for updates to the feed every Y number of days.

The 'see it work' link below is for our news page on this site. This page is generated from my blog on CrookedBush.com. It's also used for the news page at ServiceBuilder.net.

Update - I've written a new version of this script which parses the XML feed without use of any of the XML or RSS modules. It's not included in the zip file, so if you need it let me know and I'll email it to you.

What People Say

MP3 Database $0
Add to Cart My personal experience with MP3 Database is in a word: AWESOME!

There is much to be said about unobstrusive, practical, and functional scripts and their authors... MP3 Database just plain and simply: Gets-The-Job-Done.

I've looked at other alternatives such as: JamRoom, it's an overkill, while MP3Database does not have all of the bells and whistles of jamroom, you can be up and running in no time -- again... unobstrusive, practical, and functional, like sweet life!

Thank you Jason for all of your contributions!
